Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A worker at a high-kill shelter reached out to us for help. She said, “Any chance at all that you'd take this poor dog? I'm not sure what his fate will be if we can't get a rescue to take him.” She told us how he was found wandering, lost and confused, and was now sitting at the shelter trembling in fear. Sadly, although he’s only about five, this little boy is blind. We said we’d take him and find him a good home. Mr. Magoo is now an OSCAR dog. Safe and sound. Mr. Magoo is a Beagle mix with a bob tail and weighs around 30 pounds. Despite his disability, this boy is sweet, trusting, and affectionate. Mr. Magoo needs someone who will open their heart and home to him and who can accommodate his sight issues. Please help Mr. Magoo find the loving home he deserves.

From his foster: I think he sees shadows or shapes or has poor depth but can see some. He doesn't bump into things but walks carefully. On the outside stairs he needs to be shown there is a step. He happily went for a run in my field with my 50 lb dog and at a distance he saw the horse, stopped and backed up so he must see something. He seems happier with my big dog than the little ones. He's stolen one of the dog toys to make his own and barked a bit in fun. Mr. Magoo sleeps next to our bed at night with our other dogs. He is also housebroken & a gentle soul.

Mr. Magoo's adoption fee is $100. This covers all their age-appropriate shots and vetting
**If you are coming to the event to see a certain dog, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog will be there that day or check our facebook page the night before for our attendee list for that event.
