My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST COURTESY POST COURTESY POST

Rocky likes to run and play outside, he is very energetic but he'll also lay by me when I am outdoors. He likes to chew on tree sticks its like a treat to him once and a while, and he loves attention, he dislikes playing fetch, he's kind of selfish that way I'll throw a stick or frisbee and he'll chase after it get it and lay down and want to chew whatever's he's got, but he will drop it when told, it make take a couple of times but he will drop it. He knows sit, get in the cage, are you hungry, nice, easy, especially when receiving a treat, , you tell him nice and he takes it gently. I know because I would sometimes give him a treat from my mouth. Also I trained him young when he is eating, not to growl because I didn't want him to nip at small kids, so I used to put my face and hands by his bowl while he would eat. I used to walk him without a leash up north and he wouldn't run off, I let him wander a bit but when I called he came. I used to leash him when we left for trips, when we stopped at a truck stop or restrooms, I pulled the leash out and he would get happy, he would pull a little but when I pulled back on the leash he would ease up and walk along side of me. Rocky has never jumped a fence. He lives in and out of a cage right now with my sister's other two dogs, they all go outside together, played together and then when they come in Rocky goes in his cage. Rocky is house broken, I left Rocky many times up north by himself and would be gone a couple hrs at a time, I just made sure to let him out before I left. He had an accident one time but it was only because I was put into a hospital overnight, and when I got home I could tell something was wrong because he held his head down and I checked around the house and found he pooped in the bath tub, so I really couldn't b mad besides he was left alone with no way to get outside, but I didn't praise him either cause I didn't want him to think that it was ok. Rocky is not neutered and he's not up to date on his shots, but I would be willing to help anyway I can for him to go to a good home. Rocky has no known allergies and he has gotten along with other animals, he also doesn't bother the Ducks that walk around, he is not an Alpha. I can and wouldn't mind if people contacted me by email or phone.
