My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella was found over 4 weeks ago in a backyard with no food or water. She was very skinny and had flea and skin issues. She is also heartworm positive. Memphis Animal Shelter contacted Hearts of Gold Pit Rescue and asked if we could help her. Lucky for her, a foster home just became available and took her in.

She has gained weight, and her fur is coming in nice and healthy. She loves attention and is very affectionate. She likes children and dogs big and small. Stella has not met a stranger. She is crate trained and house trained. She is playful and loves toys. She walks very well on the leash and loves car rides. This girl is a snuggle bug. She is currently being treated for heart worms. She shows no signs of it slowing her down at all. We think she is close to a year old. Stella means Star and this girl is every bit a star.
