Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is a calm and shy 13 pound 1.5 year old Terrier mix. She has the dark ear tips of a Shih Tzu, but her coat is fairly straight and medium in length. Penny really wants to be loved. Penny got herself in trouble with the law after she killed a chicken. That got her a one-way ticket to dog jail and we bailed her out. Penny acts as though no one has ever treated her well. She is very shy and when you approach her, Penny will roll over and wag her tail, asking for a tummy rub. She seems to be housebroken, as she goes to the door and looks at her foster mom as if to say, please open the door for me. She immediately goes outside and does her business, and comes right back. She is a dear dog that needs a kind and patient owner to treat Penny like the princess she should be.
Penny's former owners apparently forgot to give her heartworm prevention medicine, too. She has heartworms, but has been treated for them. She should be just fine after a month's rest and relaxation as she teaches her new owners how to pamper her.
Penny has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.
