My name is Gracie and I need a second chance. I was born in June 2015 under a shed, and a nice woman came and fed me for a few months. One day I decided to take a chance and trust her, and I have no regrets.

Since October I have been warm and safe, and she feeds me such good food! The problem is that I have to stay crated all day because the nice lady is overwhelmed. You see, she is elderly and has been trying to help a lot of kitties. She is trying her best but she gets so tired. She believes in me though. She says I deserve a chance at a good life.

The PAWS volunteer who came to meet me agrees. She says I am a little shy because I don’t know a lot of people, but when she picked me up for the very first time I melted in her arms and purred and purred. I just want someone to hold me like that again and give me room to explore and build my confidence. Are you that someone?

I am a dear, sweet gray tabby who would do well with someone who will spend time with me and love me lots. I like other cats, but I have never seen a dog before.
