RUDY & RIOT's Story...
Meet Riot & Rudy! These sweet brothers are looking for a forever home together. They were born August 1, 2015. They are playful kittens although Rudy is shy. Riot is a tuxedo and Rudy looks solid black but he actually has gray tiger striped a quite a few white single hairs throughout his little body. They have been wormed, vaccinated and FeLV/FIV tested. Rudy had to go to a veterinarian Ophthalmologist for one of his eyes. His foster mom said the eye was watering. The vet said he has "intraocular inflammation" which caused a small cataract in one of his eyes. He is going back to the vet Dec. 23 to see if there are any changes. We are still trying to learn more about this, but the doctor said he should be checked once a year to see if it has changed in size. There is a chance that the cataract will grow and he could become blind in that eye when he is older, but that would not affect his quality of life. We will find out more info on 12/23.
Please email sage999cat@cox.net if you would like to make these precious boys part of your family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUDY & RIOT, a Cranston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
