Chrissy's Story...
These sweet little dachshund/pit mix babies are unbelievably lovable and playful! They came to us at just 2 days old as orphans as their momma passed due to complications during birth. They have been bottlefed by our very caring volunteers and are just weaned from the bottle. They will be ready for their forever homes when they reach 8 weeks of age but are available for pre-adoption now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chrissy, a Atlanta Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
