A Young Male: LELAND's Story...
If ever a boy has come out of his shell, it's our very sweet LELAND! As a kitten he was very skittish, but now he comes asking for love and pets! What a handsome fellow! Loves to play, too. He will absolutely blossom if he's in a forever home--how about it? He's about a year & a half. Lots more pictures of him on our website. He has a twin sister, Nigella, who is still quite shy. They are comfortable with other cats and can be adopted separately, They like being house kitties and exhibit normal house cat behavior - playing with toys, sleeping in kitty beds or on the couch. They may never be cuddly lap cats, but they may be content just to sit near you. However, we have seen great changes happen with patience, treats, soft voices, and gentle, loving hands. We are looking for a special adopter who would be accepting of them. Even skittish kitties deserve a forever, loving home. Born early 2015. See all their VIDEOS on our website. Call 626-676-9505.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A Young Male: LELAND, a Monrovia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Monrovia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Monrovia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monrovia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monrovia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monrovia paves the way for another one to be saved.
