Important Note

A Young Female: NIGELLA is best friends with A Young Male: LELAND. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
These very beautiful siblings are female Nigella and male Leland. They are comfortable with other cats and being in the general vicinity of a human being. They like being house kitties and exhibit normal house cat behavior - playing with toys, sleeping in kitty beds or on the couch. They may never be cuddly lap cats, but they may be content just to sit near you. However, we have seen great changes happen with patience, treats, soft voices, and gentle, loving hands. We are looking for a special adopter who would be accepting of them. Even skittish kitties deserve a forever, loving home. See their VIDEO. Call 626-676-9505.
Update from foster mom: I've been able to pet Leland while he munches on his food. Nigella is curious, but hasn't let me touch her too much. I'm hoping with continued daily work they will continue to progress. It just seems like they are reaching a milestone in their socialization and I'm thrilled.

About Lifeline For Pets

About Our Rescue Group...

Lifeline for Pets is a small, no-kill animal rescue group based in Pasadena, California. For many years we have been providing care for homeless cats and dogs until a loving home can be found for them. Our goal is to help these deserving animals have a long, happy life!

Please join our efforts to help dogs and cats in need. You can make all the difference in an animal’s life. The best way to help is to adopt or foster a pet. We have many adorable and loving pets waiting for their forever home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

SPECIAL OFFER: Adopt any two kittens or bonded cats for a limited time "TWOFER" PRICE--that's 2 for the price of 1 and includes kitten vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchips--a GREAT DEAL!

The best way to see all of our adoptable cats and/or dogs is via our website: Each animal has a description where you can see its age, gender, personality, etc.

We currently show cats for adoption on Sundays at Petco and Petsmart in Pasadena. Our website will give more details regarding locations and times.

In addition, you can call to make an appointment to visit our Catpad located in Pasadena, CA. This is always a good idea, in order to see our shyer cats in their comfort zone, as well as our very outgoing kitties.

We would also love to add you to our email list so that you can be among the first to receive our adorable slideshows and other bulletins. Send us an email request.

Our Adoption Process...

We do have an application form on our website. A home check is also done upon delivery. We know our animals well and work hard to make sure the adoption will be a purr-fect match! We will be happy to answer your questions. We want an adoption to be the right fit for both the humans and the animal.

When you adopt a pet from us, you can rest assured that you are getting a pet who is much loved, well-cared for, and whom we know well. In turn, we know that an adopter will provide a loving, caring, home.

Cat adoptions are usually $100 each. Dog fees are based on breed. All are current on vaccinations and neutering. Some are microchipped.

All of our adoptable cats and dogs are pictured on our website, with their videos, at
