Kassie's Story...
Hiya! My name is Kassie and I was found in a large field on the Gulf Coast of MS by a really nice man who was mad that someone just dumped me and my brothers and sisters there. I ended up in a shelter on the Gulf Coast where chances are I would have gotten sick or even more scared of folks, so Animal Rescue Front took me and my brothers and sisters outta there! We are doing so much better but we still need time to know that not all folks are mean or scary. I am really sweet is what they say. I love being in a puppy pile with a good human and a blanket. I am still young enough that I will be just fine with the world. If you would like to open your heart to me, the folks at Animal Rescue Front work with all kinds of good folks and shelters in Mississippi and they will being me to you. I hope you like me! Here's my adoption application: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kassie, a Groton Australian Shepherd/St. Bernard puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/St. Bernard for sale in Groton, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/St. Bernard puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/St. Bernard breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
