Barron's Story...
Barron: 5 yr old chocolate/tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 9", 8 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.
"My new foster mom says I am a total love bug! I am eager to please and I love everyone I meet! I get along with cats, dogs, kids and strangers. I am a little bit of a clown, you see I have an odd habit of trying to put my blankets in my water bucket that hangs in my crate. Not sure why I do it, but it cracks my foster mom up! I always keep a clean crate and go to the bathroom outside like a good boy. Do you think I can come over and play with my blankets and water at your house?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barron, a Syracuse Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
