Coconut's Story...
Coconut just turned 2 years old in October. She is a beautiful girl with striking blue eyes. She was mainly an outdoor dog but did come in at night and went in her crate to sleep. She lived with 3 small boys. She was surrendered because the family moved to a home without a fenced yard and she had to be on a tie-out and they did not feel that was fair to her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coconut, a Columbus Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
