Ryder's Story...
Hello Ryder!

Ryder's mom had a litter of kittens at our local sale barn. The people at the sale barn are going to TNR mom and catch as many kittens as they can...Ryder is one of those kittens...

While Ryder had been exposed to people, he didn't have any direct interaction with them. He was born in a very busy area right off of the highway. With weekly cow sales at the sale barn, chaos was part of Ryder's daily life.

Then one day he made his way into a kitten trap and his little life has changed, forever and ever for the better.

Ryder was scared, very scared so we placed him in a foster home that has had huge success in working with these trapped scared kittens.

And now we have a very loving, playful, follow you wherever you go, sleep with you kitten up for adoption.

If you would like to adopt a true rescued cat, come visit Ryder. Bring a carrier, you will need one :)

Contact us at 308-280-0301 to visit Ryder.

The Litter Box has a $40 adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryder, a Ogallala Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ogallala, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ogallala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogallala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogallala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogallala paves the way for another one to be saved.
