Wrangler (Neutered)'s Story...
"Wrangler" is a majestic 8-month old male Blue Heeler who arrived at the HSOV on September 17, 2015 along with his brother ("Rustler") after they were picked up in the Fleming Ohio area by the Washington County Dog Warden. We had hoped these boys would be reclaimed by their family, but unfortunately that did not happen. "Wrangler" has a white short smooth coat with black ticking, a docked tail, and a classic Blue Heeler face with a patch of black around his right eye. He usually holds his ears erect. He and his brother are nearly identical twins. "Wrangler" has a more outgoing personality and is the way we tell these boys apart. "Wrangler" weighs 43 lbs. He has been neutered and has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wrangler (Neutered), a Marietta Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
