Asha's Story...
Adoption pending...My name is Asha. I was rescued pregnant while living by a gas station in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Once I made it to the shelter I had 6 puppies. I’m a very happy dog and have learned a lot of house manners already. I am very much hoping that I get to stay with my baby Brooke who is also a very friendly and loving dog too. My baby and I love to cuddle and enjoy our long walks on the trails with our foster mummy. My foster mummy says we play very well with other dogs, we don’t mind cats and Children are a lot of fun too. Please consider keeping my baby and I together. We’ve had a long journey and hope we can spend many more years together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Asha, a wasaga beach Whippet/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/Labrador Retriever for sale in wasaga beach, or seeking a Whippet/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in wasaga beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in wasaga beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a wasaga beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Whippet/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in wasaga beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
