My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Captain Boggle is an adorable, playful and snuggly three-year-old, 20-pound Beagle/Boston Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Captain Boggle knows the command sit and takes treats very nicely from your fingers. He adores dogs of all sizes and shapes, but is not good with cats.

Typically he’s a calm guy, but he is also very playful. He was given up to a shelter with a note that said “if you go to hit him, he will snap.” Well duh … they should know better than to hit their dog! Because he lived with children that also learned to hit him, he is best in a home with teens and adults. He is perfectly housebroken and non-destructive; no crate needed.

To meet and possibly adopt Captain Boggle, please contact his foster mom Samantha at palsplace1@hotmail.com or 773-615-9864. His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued dogs of Pal’s Place. He is very healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. He is being fostered in Chicago; and because he has a few rough edges after being beaten by his first family, a few meetings with a professional trainer will be included with his adoption.
