Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Such a hunk of handsome! Twain is a purebred young adult Bloodhound sure to both stop traffic and melt your heart! Pulled from a high kill shelter in rural Alabama and probably someone's lost hunting dog...hounds can roam VERY far. This is a towering and very impressive dog with a gentle manner and a nice, steady rhythm. He gets on well with everyone and everything, including his foster's cat. Bloodhounds can make outstanding pets to those who understand the breed. They have a lot of vigor and are very strong....Twain will need training to understand how to walk on a leash politely. They require appreciable exercise, not always coming off as high energy, but under-expended Bloodhounds can be very destructive, so Twain belongs with an active family. They are socially inclined and make impressive and outstanding pets for those well matched to them. Could that be you? Applications are available on the southpawsexpress.org website or by contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com. Twain's adoption fee is $400.
