Beautiful, affectionate, Isabelle is looking for a home! Isabelle is a gorgeous, soft, green eyed tabby who was rescued from Aurora Animal Control. We think she was born around 10-28-13, she is super friendly who purrs and talks. We rescued Isabelle on October 8, 2015 from the shelter. No one could understand why she was sitting at animal control since June, 2015 waiting for a family to adopt her because she is very loving, social, and adores being petted.

Isabelle is really people driven, and loves spending her time with people. She would love a warm lap and bed to lay on for the rest of her life, and has been waiting so patiently for a family to call her own. She loves sitting in front of a window, looking out and catching some sun rays. She enjoys being petted and either sitting on your lap or sitting next to you for love. She is talker, and will happily great you when you come home.

Isabelle is a typical kitty who will play bite, or after being petted for sometime she gives you a gentle love bites. It's not uncommon for this behavior in kitties. Isabelle was adopted in April of 2016, and the adopters where told that she does that. In June of 2016 she was returned because after having Isabelle and experiencing it, they were afraid the very young children might get hurt. The youngest was under one year old. We can assure you that Isabelle's play bite is not malicious at all, and it's not hard either. We would be willing to due a 2 week trial adoption so that a potential adopter can take her home, and see how sweet this gal is before making a commitment.

Isabelle would be fabulous in a home with older children in their teens. We can't risk her loosing another home so we feel placing her in a home with older children would be best. We feel a home without other felines would be best unless your willing to do very slow intros...a few months. Slowly Isabelle has been being introduced to the resident cats. She still is afraid to walk around freely but is becoming more curious about them. She is afraid of other kitties, and is just extremely hesitant.

Please someone give this sweet girl a chance. She has waited so long for someone to understand and love her.

If that person is you, please head over to our website at to complete the on-line feline adoption application! We do not have a building, and all of our animals are cared for in foster homes so an application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet for you.

The adoption fee of $25.00 includes: The spay which is now done, kitty box trained, microchipped, FeLv/FIV testing which was negative, negative fecal test, up to date on routine vaccinations for FVRCP, rabies vaccine and given revolution. You will also receive a free office visit to one of our participating vets for a free wellness exam. She is healthy, and uses the kitty box like a good kitty.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!

About Angels On Wheels Animal Rescue NFP

About Our Rescue Group...

Angels on Wheels Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3), non-for-profit, state licensed organization. We are composed of animal-loving volunteers that work vigorously to make a difference in the lives of abandoned animals. We are dedicated to finding and saving neglected and unwanted animals from high kill shelters on death row to give them a second chance for life.

Our purpose is to keep these babies out of already crowded Animal Control Facilities, to provide them with proper medical treatment and then wonderful homes. If you need assistance with Spaying and Neutering your animals, please contact us.

We can't save these babies without your help. Please consider fostering, helping with transporting animals, volunteering by feeding and watering the kittens at Petco, helping with adoption days or donating; either monetary, old pet carriers, blankets, food, newspaper, paper towels, toys, the list is endless. Most importantly please, please spay and neuter all of your pets. It takes two to have a litter.

We may not be able to change change the world, but together, we can change the world for some.

Every day 10,000 humans are born in the U.S. and each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are also born. As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all of the animals. As a result, millions of healthy, loving cats, dogs, kittens and puppies face early deaths as a form of animal control. Others are left to fend for themselves against automobiles, the elements, other animal and cruel humans. You can help just by spaying and neutering your pets, don't ever buy from a pet store, as almost every one of them uses some form of a pupy mill, and remind people to support and ADOPT from a shelter or rescue. Thank you.
