RANGER's Story...
My name is RANGER. I was dubbed that by the two awesome boys in my foster family. They are baseballs fans and love the Texas Rangers. Even if you don't the like the Rangers, you will like me! I am a healthy senior fella who already knows the ropes. I don't act crazy like those young pups do. I am calm, cool, and collected. I was somebody's best boy before I somehow got away from my humans and ended up in the shelter. My fosters say it is obvious I was a well-trained, well-loved guy. I am perfectly behaved at all times. And house trained - well of course I know where to do my business -- outside! And wait for it.. I like cats! I am in a foster home with a small dog and 2 cats. No elaborate intro needed; I just waltzed in and we were fast friends. Oh, and before I forget -- I LOVE to swim! I am really an all-around great boy. Why Adoption is a Great Option

RANGER, a Colorado Springs Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
