Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winnie is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Winnie is not affiliated with Take Me Home. She is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. For more information on Winnie please contact her foster mom Alli at info@adogsliferescue.org.
Hi my name is Winnie and I'm only about a year and a half old and I only weigh about 10 lbs so I'm a small girl. People tell me I look to be a wire hair terrier mix and sometimes I get Westie too.
About 6 weeks ago, I was left at the shelter with one of my puppies. My puppy was adopted and I was left in the back kennels until A Dog's Life Rescue came and got me out. I couldn't believe somebody finally came for me and I just crawled to them on my belly hoping it was real. I've been having a great time in my foster home this past 6 weeks. I love my dog beds and chewing on bones and playing with toys and my foster dog sister. Speaking of, I've been getting along great with my two foster dog siblings and other dogs I've met. And I really like playing and hanging out with cats. That's right, I'm a cat loving dog.
I also LOVE meeting new people! I am almost completely potty trained, I've only had a couple of accidents this last couple weeks and my foster mom seems very proud of me about that. She's been showing me some boundaries, things I can and can't do, and I'm catching on quickly… like I guess I'm not suppose to take her shoes, socks and other belongings to my bed but I still like to do that on occasion. I'm also learning to share her with the other dogs in the house… it's just sometimes I just want all of her attention:) I've been learning to walk on leash too and I'm getting better every day. I would love to meet my forever family so if you are interested in adopting me, email my foster mom Alli right away ;-)
