This pretty lady is Haley Kitty. She's a relaxed 1 year old that keeps her small space very tidy. Haley kitty is reported to be good with kids and house trained. She might be a little sad right now because she lost her home when her owner left her at the shelter (through no fault of her own) on Oct. 16th. Multiple animals are surrendered to the shelter daily for a myriad of reasons. She's up to date with shots, spayed, and micro-chipped. Upon adoption she will be combo-tested and then she can go home that day! Please come see this great girl in 671 and her ID is 579762.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HALEY KITTY (R), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
