Facts about Ally Bear

  • Breed: Boxer
  • Color: White - With Brown Or Chocolate
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Whoo Boy! Ally Bear has endeared herself to the entire ABR community with her personality and antics. She has a beautiful white coat that highlights the mud just perfectly. You can usually make out the tricolor patch over her eye. This 2 year old ball of energy and happy has a docked tail, natural ears and a smile a mile wide. Her zest for life is infectious. She is heartworm negative, very healthy and will be a large girl around 80 pounds.

Ally Bear came out of boarding smelling like roses when she landed with a foster who not only has a working farm but also works on an even bigger working farm. And Ally Bear gets to go to work with her foster mom every day where there are big and small dogs, cats, horses, pigs, goats and various farm animals. She gets along with all of them. Ally Bear loves 3 things best: swimming, fishing and cooling off with a mud bath; getting a real bath from foster mom; and covering her humans with kisses. Everyone she meets is her friend.

Ally Bear is a high energy girl who knows sit, down and stay and responds immediately to NO. Ally Bear’s foster mom is one of the most experienced with ABR and says: “Ally loves to be outside running exploring and playing (and) she has one of the best recalls that I have ever seen in a dog and will stop in her tracks when called.” Ally is house, crate and leash trained and she does just fine with kids but because of her energy level should be placed with kids 10 or older.

This gorgeous girl will light up your life. Her antics and responses will have you wondering if she’s part human. She is not much of a city girl, and certainly not an apartment girl; really, where’s the ponds for fishing in the city? This girl is not a couch potato. She needs to be your companion, going with you and exploring, and there’s that needing a bath thing that is so much easier on the lawn than on the carpet.
