My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy: 2 year old, black & tan, neutered male, cropped ears and docked tail, 14" 15 lbs., shots up-to-date, micro chipped. Rescued from shelter.

Buddy is a wonderful, people oriented boy looking for a family. He loves to play as well as snuggle as often as possible. Buddy came to us with a broken elbow which required surgery and rest. He is now healed and ready to find his forever home. He loves all people and is very gentle when taking treats. Buddy takes correction very well. We've found a squirt bottle is very effective. Buddy is a bigger sturdier boy who would do well in an active home. He wants to be with people. He complains a bit when he is put in a crate but does eventually settle down. Buddy loves to sleep in the human bed and is a great foot warmer. He knows sit but could benefit from additional obedience training. He will bark at cats and chase them if they run. Buddy is an alpha male who is submissive to all female dogs (they all seem to adore him) and fine with other non-alpha males. He can not be placed in a home with another alpha male.

Buddy is located in Sacramento, CA, and we will not fly this boy. In cabin with Adopter only.
