Dunkin's Story...
Dunkin is a charming little dog that is full of character. He is a young boy that eagerly makes friends with everyone, is playful, affectionate and a real cutey. He is hardy enough to get along with the bigger dogs but is small enough to scoop up and take anywhere.

This little boy is about a year old and has a thick dense coat that is either non-shedding or sheds very little. He is a sturdy dog on short legs with a medium length tail carried over his back. He would be fine in an apartment as long as he got a daily walk and times to play at the dog park. He would be excellent as a family pet, in a house with a backyard where he could romp with the kids and play ball.

He likes to be outside and is well behaved and tolerant of other more assertive dogs. He would do well as a second dog as he really loves the company. Cute as a button, loyal and loving, Dunkin is a perfect little companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dunkin, a Hamilton Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
