Muffy is the most charming and lovable little guy! This handsome little guy was found roaming the streets without a collar or tags or any sign of an owner looking for him, though it's clear he belonged somewhere at one point. Muffy adores kids and is great with cats and other dogs too. He follows the little boy in his foster home around like an adorable shadow. He's a lover of life who just wants to be up in the mix of things and included, and he fits in well almost everywhere. Spunky, sweet, and family ready. (Also a big time water lover! LOVES the water)
Muffy is under 20 lbs and a healthy, happy, young guy so ready to be adopted and have his own family.
Our adoption process works a bit different than other shelters and rescues! Paddy's Paws serves as a coordinator for Houston rescues. We send out the applications, arrange home visits and secure back up fosters for each of the dogs that will be transported here. Like most foster-based organizations, we do not have a facility and set up all appointments on an individual basis. Prior to any meet and greets, we require an approved application so we will need to go through all the steps before having you meet any of the available dogs here in Wisconsin.

We start with the completed application and then check references/vet records. The next step is a homevisit with family and one of our representatives. Once we have gathered all this information, we provide it to the Houston team. Then, we can set up a meet and greet with available dogs.
