Dee Dee-Adopted!'s Story...
Hello! My name is DeeDee. I am a lovable and well mannered Rottweiler. I am just about as sweet as they come. I tend to be pretty calm and love to get and give affection. I do enjoy going for walks and spending time with my foster family. Dee Dee gets along with most dogs. She weighs about 85 pounds.

I had a rough go before I came to Home FurEver. I was treated for a very bad case of heartworm disease. I had already started my treatment when we found out I was pregnant. I only had 2 babies so that's one of the reasons why no one knew. Sadly, one of my babies passed away, but Louie is doing well. None of that phases me now. I look only into the future and think about how happy I will be when my furever family finds me.

Please check out Home FurEver's website to read over the adoption process and see the calendar so you know when and where you can meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dee Dee-Adopted!, a Detroit Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
