Meet GINGER! This beautiful girl is as pretty on the inside as she is on the outside! She absolutely LOVES the company of other dogs & would be happiest in a home with a doggy friend to play with. She is great with kids as well. Ginger is approximately 16 months old, weighs 30 lbs, and resembles a mix of Carolina Dog & Beagle (our best guess!). She spent her life chained to a front porch where she gave birth to a litter of puppies. Her owners then took her to a crowded, high kill shelter in Memphis were she was scheduled to be killed due to overcrowding at the shelter. A rescue friend of Dolly's Legacy got her out of the shelter & she was transported to us in Nebraska. Ginger is loving her new life in her foster home where she is playing with their two dogs and soaking up all the love & attention. We are requiring a fenced-in yard for Ginger. Ginger is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, heartworm negative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $275 . For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. The first step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved.
