Cowboy's Story...
10-19-15 Cowboy is a spectacular dog. He LOVES people and other dogs. He's handsome, playful, and an all around sweetie.

Cowboy was found running down a busy highway, but didn't hesitate to jump in a car when the good samaritan stopped for him. He seems like he's had a good life thus far, but no owners could be located.

He is 1-2 yrs old, around 50 lbs, heartworm negative and on prevention, neutered, has all vaccines and is microchipped.

Please go to our website and fill out an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy, a Charlotte Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
