Layla's Info...

Layla's Story...
Meet Layla. She was found on the side of the road during a very bad thunder storm. She was brought to the rescue scared and starving but otherwise in good health. She is a very smart little girl. She's wonderful with other dogs and would be perfect for a family with children.

She has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date on all of her shots. We estimate her birthday to be 4/7/15 making her a baby still! She needs her "Furever" home! Adoption fee is $450.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Brattleboro Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
