Gabbie's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Gabbie's Story...
Gabbie is one stunning kitty! This soft grey tabby is just beautiful, and she's super sweet to boot! Gabbie was found as a stray and came to us through animal control, so we don't know a lot about her journey through life. What we do know is that she is friendly and affectionate, always seeking head-bumps and chirping for attention, and she's looking for the purr-fect family! We can't say for sure how Gabbie would feel about a canine companion, but we do think she'd do great with children over 5, as she seems like a pretty athletic player.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabbie, a Oak Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
