Sandy's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Sandy's Story...
Sweet Sandy is a gorgeous dilute-tortie senior girl who loves to be the center of attention! Sandy just knows she's a superstar, and she's all too happy to show you just how charming she is! Sandy came to us because she was abandoned, but Sandy is too much of a go-getter to let that bring her down! We don't know whether Sandy has ever had any contact with dogs, so we can't say whether she'd like a canine companion. We think she'd do fine with children of any age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Oak Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
