PBJ's Story...
PBJ is a very sweet but a little shy 2 month old baby boy. He will be so happy when he is in a home with lots of toys and out of his cage in the very loud shelter. He came in as a stray on 10/12 and his people did not come looking for him. He has been neutered and has had his first set of vaccines. He will need boosters very soon. Please speak with your vet who will tell you when those will be needed. PBJ is waiting in cage 318 and his ID# is 579649. Hurry in and make him yours.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PBJ, a Marietta Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
