My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable LAYLA is the most perfect girl! Her foster family says she does nothing wrong! LAYLA is 11 months old, affectionate, obedient, and funny. She is gentle with both little girls in her foster home. Even the 9 year old is allowed to walk her! LAYLA knows not to potty in the house and is also great in her create. She LOVES to go for walks and for car rides. LAYLA minds her manners and consistently looks to her foster mom for direction. LAYLA is perfect for baths, knows how to sit, and is not much of a barker at all. She enjoys playing, but is not a hyper girl. She IS an expert cuddler and kisser! She is her foster family's first pet ever! Prior to LAYLA they hadn't even had a pet cat or fish. They say she is a dream come true! LAYLA is truly the IDEAL family dog and wilh fill her forever home with endless love and happiness!

LAYLA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
