Facts about Tanner

  • Breed: Siamese
  • Color: Cream Or Ivory (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Tanner would like everyone to know that he is slightly disgruntled with being overlooked because he is shy. He still wants a forever home of his own too! Tanner is a 3 year old Siamese mix. He is very shy until he becomes comfortable with you, but then watch out. He is definitely a lap cat. He loves to cuddle and lay around with you. He's not overly fond of other cats so he won't play with them, but he will tolerate them without a problem. He is in a room with several others at this time. Tanner is completely vetted and neutered. He does have a sensitive digestive system so he often has loose stool but he always uses the litter box so it really isn't a problem. He should be kept on special food to help with this issue. Please consider giving this handsome guy a forever home and give him a loving family.

About Helping Hearts & Healing Tails Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small foster based rescue, not a shelter, comprised of multiple individuals that open their homes to stray, sick, and forgotten animals in need. We began the rescue in the Ligonier Area to focus on issues of stray, abandoned, and neglected animals. We often took in animals for the local police departments instead of having them sent to animal control. We have since expanded and try to cooperate with the public, other rescues, and other animal groups to assist any animal in need. Our primary focus area for intake though is still the Ligonier Valley. Adoptions can be made to any area as long as the adoption process is completed.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Arrangements can be made to visit with any of our pets, but because we are foster based and do not have one facility, appointments must be made to do so. To visit with a pet, please contact us at 814-421-7078 by phone or text.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process consists of an initial application for the animal of interest, followed by reference checks (both personal and with a veterinarian), a home visit, and finally if approved an adoption contract. All animals are required to be inside companion pets and the owner must maintain veterinary care throughout the life of the animal.

Adoption fees are $150 for dogs, unless it fostered through us for another rescue and $75 for cats.

All animals are up to date with vaccinations and spayed/neutered before adoption.
