Hi, my name is Groot. I weigh about 63lbs and am a neutered Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Weimaraner mix. I am about a year and a half old. Life hasn’t been easy for me in my short time on earth. My previous “owner” didn’t treat me well. He didn’t feed me enough and cut my ears to make me look mean. Later, when he decided he didn’t want me anymore, he took me to the shelter and said I was a stray he found on the street. It was so scary in the shelter; all I did was sit in the corner of my cage and hope someone would come adopt me. But no one came. People didn’t want me because I am a little shy. On my last hour at the shelter, my foster mom decided to take me in even though she already has 3 dogs and 2 cats. She is very patient and has been taking me places and I hang out with her dogs. Guess what? I really like being a part of a family and would love one of my own. I am already potty trained and know new commands and tricks. Will you be my new family?Our adoptions are restricted to residents of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions.
