Monkey was originally in a home bonded with a Shih Tzu. One day I got a call saying the owner skipped town and abandoned poor Monkey. I found Monkey living under a car tied with a wire to the railing behind a house. She was scared and frightened. In time though this spunky girl came out of her shell and quickly bonded with her BFF Scotty. Now these two fun and spirited dogs are looking for one fantastic home, together!! Monkey is housebroken and gets along with most dogs, she's a little nervous around bigger dogs but does ok. Her only real caveat is that she is a bit of bolter--i.e. she should always be watched so as not to run out of the house or stray too far at parks.
