Tessa's Story...
Meet Tessie! She is the sweetest, cutest little chunk of chocolate you will ever met. Tessa is about 6 years old, weighs 9 pounds and was born with a bit of a spinal defect that gives her a hunched back appearance. That doesn't slow her down any. Tessa is an equal opportunity lover of everyone. She is spry, sweet and lovable. Tessa is not yappy or needy. Her looks and her coloring make her a standout anywhere.

Tessa came to us from a family that could not afford to keep her any longer. They apparently did not give Tessie any heartworm prevention, because she had heartworms when we got her. Tessie is easygoing and loves everyone, so has forgiven her former owners for not protecting her from this nasty disease. Tessa has been treated for he heartworms, so is on the road to recovery and a long happy life in a new home.

Tessa has been spayed, vaccinated , microchipped and treated for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $150.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa, a Atlanta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
