My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable young male looking for someone with whom to snuggle up and spend the rest of his life! Douglas (or Dougie, as he prefers to be called) is as sweet as they come, and welcomes every opportunity to snuggle and be petted. He has the most beautiful chocolate and golden red coat. He has a moderate level of energy, and is not hyper at all. He only jumps on you when you first come home and then settles down. Dougie loves to explore the yard, and does require a very securely fenced in yard, as he will check to see if the grass is greener on the other side.

Dougie is good with other dogs, but would love to be the only dog. He isn’t fond of cats, and should probably be in a home without very young children.
Douglas is housetrained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
Douglas’ adoption fee is $250. Adopters must live within 150 miles or a 3 hour drive of the Quad City area.
