Spinks is a very gentle, sweet and lovable, long and lean, 10-year-old, 10-pound, male Jack Russell Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Spinks is not only good with other dogs, he’s also great with people. He lets anyone pick him up and carry him around.

He will also climb right into anyone’s lap for a snuggle with a wag of his little tail. He doesn’t have much interest in toys, but he’ll dance for a treat.

Spinks lost his original home when his human died and none of the other family members could keep him.

Spinks is a healthy senior, up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and could benefit from a dental in the near future. Spinks is currently staying at rescue headquarters at 5430 N. Clark Street in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. The rescue is moving next month and it would be wonderful if Spinks could find a loving home before that!
