Sage's Story...
Sage is a 1 year old female Pit Bull mix. She found herself at the shelter for the 3rd time and the owners chose not to save her, even though they knew she was there. She deserves better.
Sage has been in foster care and doing very well. We have learned alot about her. She is very sweet and plays great with the 2 other dogs in the home. She is a very social dog and kind. She is housetrained, learning to walk on a leash and knows basic commands. She loves everyone and is just the perfect dog!
Adoption fee is $145, includes spay, deworming, vaccinations, hw test/preventative, flea/tick control and microchip. ($10.99 microchip registration fee at time of adoption)
Call foster care at 918-408-7311 for more info on Sage.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sage, a Okmulgee American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Okmulgee, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Okmulgee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okmulgee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okmulgee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okmulgee paves the way for another one to be saved.
