My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cadbury looks like a scottish terrier/schanauzer mix. He is approx 12 months and 18 lbs. We believe he was hit by a car and had an injured hip. The orthopedic surgeon performed an FHO and he is doing very well now. He has great mobility and is healing well. He is a very sweet dog, quiet and laid back. He seems to be quite well house trained and does pretty well on a leash but would benefit from some additional training,. He has a very sweet disposition and will make a great family pet

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
