David is a Great Dane that was found starving and near death on the side of the road. Someone had dumped him to fend for himself. They did not want him because he had bad hips on both sides. The way they decided to deal with it was to dump him knowing he was unable to fend for himself.
A kind-hearted woman in Taiwan rescued this wonderful dog and took him to the vet. David's life is starting to turn around, good food and a flight to the States. The wonderful folks at UC Davis are trying to help him walk without pain. Please, we rarely ask for help but if you can donate to David's care, that would be a godsend.
David has had surgery on one of his hips and is doing great. We think that he won't need surgery on his other hip because hes doing so well. and David now weighs 115 lbs., so hes no longer skinny.
Hes now able to run and play. But, David's real hobby is lounging on he sofa and waiting for someone to scratch his ears. Please consider adopting Dave. Hes ready for his forever home.
