Pixie's Story...
Meet Pixie, a 7 month old, 7 lb beautiful, fun-loving Jack Russell Terrier. She has a short coat and does not shed much; she is very sweet, inquisitive, and energetic. Pixie is a young, friendly, playful, yet gentle little girl that gets along well with everyone. She loves to play, snuggle, and she minds well. She has met quite a few different dogs and kids in the neighborhood, and even a few cats; she is great around them all, and they all seem to like her too. Pixie is very well-mannered; she is not a barker, is crate-trained, and working on potty training. She loves to go for walks, car rides, or lay in your arms and nap. To meet Pixie, please fill out an application found on the website or come to one of our adoption events (listed on the web site) to meet her in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a San Diego Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
