Lenny's Story...
Meet Lenny (“Kravitz”), the most loving, trusting, kitten in town. He likes to be on your shoulder, he purrs nonstop—in fact he purrs so much he drools a little from joy! Ah…to be a kitten. Lenny is a handsome tuxedo kitty with a white patch on his lip. He’s a lover without being annoying. (Lol). He needs you, but isn’t needy. He’s the perfect kitty. A truly special boy who wants to be around people... if you kiss him, he’ll kiss you back. Imagine that! He is great around his other two brothers (see Bowie and Winston also pictured in this listing), and the synergy between the three of them is special.

Lenny is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

If you would like to meet Lenny (and his brothers!), please contact Michelle at 818.312.6810 to set up a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Novato Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Novato, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Novato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Novato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Novato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Novato paves the way for another one to be saved.
