Fozzy's Story...
Meet Fozzy! Fozzy is an adorable apricot poodle weighing in at 8 1/2 lbs. He is 5-6 years old. He was rescued from hoarding situation. After HART cleaned him up and got his hair cut, they realized he was almost completely blind. So, the super generous people at HART decided to go ahead and have his cataracts removed. His surgery was 10/15 and he is doing great! He really wants to play fetch, but it's a little difficult with a cone on his head!

Fozzy is housebroken and crate trained. He does very well in the house while his fosters are home, but is crated when they leave. He sleeps in his foster parents bed, but he doesn't take up very much room at all and usually stays toward their feet. He does well with the other dogs in his foster home.

All Fozzy needs now is a furever home. Could that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fozzy, a Cincinnati Toy Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Toy Poodle for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Toy Poodle dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Toy Poodle breeders who help with Toy Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
