Foster parents have the first option to adopt. We will provide all you need to foster.

Weight: 8 lb.

Age: 2 years old

Personality: she is still a bit shy with people but if you are sitting on sofa, she will come sit next you.

Coat: medium length and wavy

Training: she is learning now

Potty trained: Yes. She pees on pee pads but she also goes outside.

Health: Very healthy

History: Pele and her three other siblings were born in the shelter. Her mother was a Yorkie mix and her father was a purebred black toy poodle. Since she born in the shelter, she did not have much experience with humans, so she is shy and needs more socialization.

Type of home: She will be better in calm, less active home.

Crate trained: Yes

Good with Dogs: Her foster mom has three other dogs big and small.
Good with Kids: Unknown
Good with Cats: Yes

Adoption fee (non-refundable): $300

All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.

Our adoption process looks like this:

1. Adoption application review by WHDR board
2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized

Our volunteers, donors and adopters mean the world to us! Without you, we couldn't do what we do - saving the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and providing them with a loving forever home.
