Puddin''s Story...
My name is Puddin! I have the softest fur and the sweetest disposition. I am a 10 week old DSH black kitty with a white spot on my neck. I have been neutered, all my shots are current and I have a microchip. I am mellow and love other kitties. Aren’t my big round eyes cute? I love to be held and purr all the time. My favorite toy is is a mouse. I'm with my adopted brother Jackie Robinson and would love to find a forever home. I’d be good in any home although I have not been with dogs.

The adoption fee is $75 and includes the following vet work prior to adoption:
Spay/neuter
Test for Leukemia (FeLV) and FIV
Age-appropriate vaccinations
Parasite control
Microchip to help ensure a safe return in the event your pet gets lost

A written adoption application is required. At least 48 hours is required to process application and applications are complete within 72 hours. Home visit prior to approval at our discretion. All kitten adoptions are to indoor only homes. We do our best to work with you to place an appropriate cat into an indoor/outdoor situation. Always searching for approved barn homes for feral and semi-feral cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puddin', a Rochester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
