Pepper's Story...
Hello humans! My name is Beau (Golden colored) and this is my brother, Pepper (black colored). We are male, 3 year old, 60 lb. Golden mixes. Pepper has Flat Coat Retriever in him and I, obviously, have Golden. We get along with other dogs but AGK does not know yet about cats. We are considered a bonded pair as we have been together always so we would like to be placed together. Thank you to AGK for taking us in! We are ready for our next adventure xo Beau & Pep

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Knoxville Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
