My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Bear. He is a gorgeous 6 month old purebred Akita pup. Look at the size of those big feet! That's right, Bear is only 6 months old and weighs about 80 lbs. Bear was recently surrendered by his owners to his caring foster mom, who took him in and asked us for some help in finding Bear a great home. Erin, his new foster mom, said that Bear is current on vaccinations and would make a great companion for the right person.

As you can see, he likes to give Erin "Bear hugs" and he kisses her as well. Erin says that Bear is
housetrained and crate trained. She says that he ha been great with her 2 large breed male and female dogs as well. He is even good with cats. Good dog! I have observed that Bear walks very well on a leash and rides okay in the car too. Erin is currently treating Bear for a little skin spot on his tail, known as a hot spot, which is common in dogs from time to time. She has no doubt that this spot will heal up quickly with proper care and he will be all set for whatever life brings his way. I can say that Bear has a beautiful face and has alot of puppy attitude left in him.
