Hello, my name is Oscar. I have had a tough life and was about to give up when CARE rescued me. I was so skinny and weak that I could only stand for a few minutes at a time and you could almost see my entire skeleton. I also had wounds on my legs, head, and neck. But, after weeks of crate rest, plenty of food and months of love I am doing great! My fur has all filled in, I have plumped up enough so no ribs are showing and I love being outside exploring and playing. I am still a little skittish and a bit wary of people although I really want to be a part of the family. I love to watch the other dogs in my family and learn from them. I am learning how to play with them, as well as with dog toys. I enjoy treats and lying in the sun. Leashes are still an obstacle for me but I am working on it. I always want to be with the other dogs, so if they go in the car, so do I! I have had many new experiences. I have been swimming and out to a ranch where I could roam freely. That was so much fun! I have done so well in my foster home, but it is time for me to move on and get a family of my own. My foster family is really going to miss me! I am looking for a family with a lot of love and patience, as I still have a few areas to work on like wearing a leash and letting people pet me freely. I know I can get over these fears with a little bit of help, time and love. I would also like to have another dog that I can buddy around with. My adoption fee is $125
